Top Ten Female Aquatic Perfumes...

Aquatic perfumes smell of warm seaside breezes, invigorating mountain air, homes filled with flowers and fresh linen. The airy, light character makes aquatic fragrances extremely versatile. Perfect for casual wear, office wear, sportswear, and even for daytime formal occasions, aquatic perfumes are all around crowd pleasers.

Aquatic perfumes first gained popularity in the 1990s and maintained a stronghold ever since. Studded with citrus notes and ozonic accords, aquatic perfumes are desirably refreshing and delicate. Aquatic perfumes, alongside timeless florals and powerful orientals, are some of the longest-running popular fragrances. Here are the top ten best-selling aquatic perfumes for women.

Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue

Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue is the most popular aquatic perfume of all time. Designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana drew inspiration from their Sicilian heritage to create Light Blue. Calling upon Mediterranean sensuality and carefree femininity, Light Blue celebrates the languid days of summer. Soft fruit-inflected florals recall picturesque countrysides and a vague woody musk base references a dry rocky beachscape. Light Blue is a floral aquatic perfume that whispers with sophistication.

Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue includes notes of Granny Smith apple, Sicilian cedar, bluebells, jasmine, white rose, bamboo, cedarwood, amber, and musk. Dolce & Gabbana Light blue is available in 0.8 oz, 1.6 oz, and 3.3 oz bottles.

Calvin Klein Eternity

Calvin Klein dominates in popular aquatic perfumes. Every single Calvin Klein fragrance reiterates the signature Calvin Klein aquatic structure. Following suit, Calvin Klein Eternity presents a light-hearted floral perfume. In spite of the white floral core, Eternity perfume side-steps the obligatory musk and cloying nectar notes. Instead, Eternity adopts an abstract ozonic accord which lifts the luminous white lily. A sweet atmospheric layer lends a seaside breeze or an airy spring mood to the perfume.

Calvin Klein Eternity includes notes of freesia, mandarin, sage, muguet, white lily, marigold, narcissus, patchouli, sandalwood, and amber. Calvin Klein Eternity is available in 1.7 oz and 3.4 oz bottles.

Flower by Kenzo...

flowers-perfume-kenzoFlower by Kenzo is a powdery-floral fragrance — soft and a bit ethereal, like a sole frail flower dancing in the wind. Imagine how spring would smell like; Flower is akin to a nice beginning scent of spring. This bright fragrance is a blend of wild hawthorne, Bulgarian rose, parma violet, cassia, hedione, cyclosal, opoponax, white musk and vanilla. The fusion of the signature flowers celebrates nature’s vibrant life and the city’s insatiable vigor. The creaminess of musky vanilla encapsulates the comforting feel of the aromatic accords of violets and roses. The fragile air emanating from the freshly picked blossoms unfolds into a powdery scent that resonates and lingers. Like its fragrance, the packaging conveys an aura of grace and sophistication. Housed in a statuesque, poppy-embossed bottle, Flower exudes a gentle yet uplifting element that makes you feel radiant all over.
Flower is said to be a whispering fragrance. It has a good sillage as it holds the scent longer on the skin. It stands out in the crowd without being overpowering. The alluring softness of the oriental-floral concoction is punctuated by hints of bitter woods and musk making it more pronounced, more distinct.

One perfumista noted, “The result is just pure heaven, nearly indescribable in its beauty. Mind you, there is a bit of waiting required to get to the good part; on initial application, you very much get a fairly basic violet tinged with just a touch of almond. But once thirty minutes or so passes, you find yourself with a patch of paradise on your skin, a sweet velvet essence so inviting that it becomes almost a full sensory experience rather than just an olfactory one. “
In 1988, Designer Kenzo Takada launched his fragrance line. His suite of perfumery features an impressive collection of timeless scents that captures the multicultural world of beauty and colors. Kenzo’s creations bespeak quality, elegance and creativity.

More Reviews about Flowers from Kenzo

“Simply amazing.. If you are looking for a nice clean as if you just came out from the shower scent, Kenzo FLOWER is highly recommendable. It has a powdery notes with just a touch of floral for a lady like scents.. I had been drawing compliments from both gender whenever I take the crowded trains because it smells so fresh and not overpowering. If you are going to get it be sure to get it from Scentiments.com simply because of the price difference from leading retailers..”

I’ve used Flower almost exclusively for about six years and I ALWAYS get compliments on how good I smell! If I put it on in the morning, it takes me through the day…or a few sprays before heading out the door later in the day lasts into the night. I love the 3.4 & 1.7 oz…tried the tiny one for travel but it leaks :( so I just take the 1.7 along wherever I go. Very few scents have ever captured me the way this one has (and I’ve been wearing perfumes for over 40 years!!!)
