This fragrance is remarkably a light blend. Its reminiscent of Lacoste but tamed and more inviting. Some say it’s pure charisma. It’s probably the endearing warmth permeated by the oriental base. Its sophisticated aroma shines without being obtrusive. Silver Shadow is a perfect day scent. It would serve well as an office fragrance. Perfume designer Francis Kurkjian created this fragrance and was launched in the market in 2005.

In 2007, a more modern version of Silver Shadow was introduced. Bereft of the old man’s scent and peppered with hints of fruity sweetness comes a spin-off of the original called Silver Shadow Altitude. This flanker has more youth in it attributed to the citrusy essence of berries and grapefruits. The woodsy base remains; dry down is similar to the original Silver Shadow. This fragrance is likewise an everyday scent; it doesn’t impose, very subtle and delicate.

In sum, Silver Shadow fleshes out a timeless scent that doesn’t go out of style. Altitude, on the other hand, gives the fragrance a slightly modern panache but the distinct Davidoff aroma remains.
