Sarah Jessica Parker Does Not Release New B.O. Per...
One of the top celebrity perfumes for 2010 will surely come from Sarah Jessica Parker. After creating the hit Sarah Jessia Parker Lovely, famous for its rich chord of sweet musk, Sarah Jessica Parker has been keeping her next perfume project under wraps. While fans wait with abated breathe, some perfume gossip recently spilled out from the celebrity rumor mill: Sarah Jessica Parker wants to make likeable B.O. perfume.
Though that came as no surprise, fans who loved Lovely just want another celebrity scent that is true to its creator’s personality, as well as timeless and beautiful—not a personal hygiene problem. And though Sarah Jessica Parker’s interest in animalic notes were made well-known by journalist Chandler Burr, fans thought she would only explore musk as much as she already has—not offer to bathe people in it.

But, wait, don’t panic! Apparently, Sarah Jessica Parker hasn’t whispered another word about the B.O. scent. And, get this: Coty recently announced that the latest Sarah Jessica Parker perfume would be SJP NYC, a breezy, super-girly fragrance. This show stopper is intended to capture the Sarah Jessica Parker’s characterization of Carrie Bradshaw, the fun, fabulous and flirty lead of Sex and the City.
Oh, and, this just in, Sarah Jessica Parker is sorry to disappoint, she’s not sure if this perfume project, unlike her first two projects, truly represent her as an individual. It’s definitely a Carrie Bradshaw perfume, not a Sarah Jessica Parker perfume.
So it’s definite, girls: this perfume holds none of the notorious stank Sarah Jessica Parker has been threatening to put in your perfume!
But Sarah Jessica Parker does walk away from this perfume project debacle with some grace. She states she’s really pleasantly surprised how well strawberry combines with her one and only true scent, musk.

Sorry, Sarah, you’re awesome and all, but no one’s really disappointed about missing out on your B.O. perfume!
The other notes in SJP NYC are mandarin, white osmanthus, strawberry, gardenia, honeysuckle, mimosa, rose, sandalwood, vanilla, rum and creamy musks. Now, let’s see if this fruity perfume can challenge the top Yves Saint Laurent perfumes and Dolce & Gabbana perfumes just as SJP Lovely did.
